Drenched in Wine (Clow/Yuuko)
23 August 2009 03:05 amI started out with the idea of doing a fanmix, but soon realized that my favored genres of country music and musical soundtracks would not be appropriate for these two. They need something sultry, something subtle, something that I can't provide. So instead, I collected lyrics, and from these lyrics, wrote fic. I wouldn't recommend listening to these songs while reading the fic... just take the lyrics as they are.
The stories are all set in the same universe and are arranged in a rough chronological order. Really, there are a lot of blank spaces that didn't get filled in, but here's what I have for you.

dream I'm dreaming too
It fires from your eyes
This dream I have of kissing you
Should come as no surprise

He didn't seem bothered by the cold and it probably would have been easier for him not to have worn the outer garment at all, which meant he probably had for the express purpose of giving it to her. Yuuko couldn't decide if that was chivalrous or irritating. Both, as usual.

It was a good, good life
