"Daidouji Toys, Daidouji speaking. How may I help you?"

"Um, hello. I'm Watanuki Kimihiro and I applied for a position with your company earlier this week. I was wondering what the status of my application was."

"Watanuki, hmm... let me look here... ah, yes, I remember reading yours."

"Ma'am?"

"Watanuki-kun, I'm not quite sure that you're qualified for this position. Your former job experience... doesn't really seem to run in this direction..."

"Oh no. You called Yuuko, didn't you."

"It is company policy to contact former employers. Did you leave your employment due to a grudge?"

"No, no, not at all. My servitude-- I mean, my services were no longer needed. It was a temp job. It's just... Yuuko-san... she's a special woman, she had strange needs... What did she tell you???"

"Off the record here, Watanuki-kun, you might be better suited to work the bar down the street a bit. They may appreciate your... expertise."

"Daidouji-san, please, please understand... I didn't want-- she made me-- this isn't what I like to do, honestly-- she just doesn't want me to leave, you see..."

"I thought it was a temporary position?"

"Well, sort of. I was working off a... debt."

"Well, best of luck for your future, Watanuki-kun. I just don't think it's here at Daidouji Toys. I'm terribly sorry."

"--Yuuko! Yuuko! Oh, you-- I'm sorry too, Daidouji-san. Have a nice day."
