She shut her eyes when he breathed and came, trying not to feel disappointed. She'd always thought it would be harder to seduce such a famously distant man. Perhaps he found her reputed iciness a challenge.

He slid out and off, cradling her roughly in his arms and said, in a tone belying his physical weariness, "What do you want from me?"

Yuuko stiffened, her elbow sharp against his tender ribs, and she didn't answer.

After a moment, the bed shifted and he went away. They never slept together again, but they both remembered.
