Decades passed before they met again on the street one evening, shoulders brushing against another. It was perhaps a chance meeting, but there is no chance, only hitsuzen. Now was their time--when all the rest were gone, and only they remembered who they were and had been. Two magics called to one another across the years.

Blue eyes met green, youthful smiles grew (for aging was optional among those like them, and they were never old enough to age). She grabbed his hand and they fell into step together.
