Each of my nightly quests for her is an art piece. I do so love to draw. Here is the task, which leads beautifully to the transformation. It is an art, like dance, that I practice--

The art of the puppeteer--

I am a puppeteer without the strings, for she always does as I predict. I do not need a leash-- the strings. Somehow she makes it through, she calms the storm. There is nothing Sakura can’t do.

I might have loved her less if she didn't try so hard, but she really believes that everything will be all right.

She is focused on the task, on preventing the eternal night that I am making a fair attempt to cause, but she pauses a moment to look into my eyes--
