"It's not in that box," Eriol said. His sudden appearance at Kaho’s side surprised her.

"Whatever you're looking for, it isn't in that box," he said, taking it from her hands and smoothing down the tape.

She'd just thought it a normal box mixed in with all the other boxes from the move, but then she saw the careful lettering on the side. Clow's Journals: Keroberos and Yue, the box said. She understood then. She only asked him once how Ruby and Spinel came to be, and her blood ran cold at his answer.

Some things should stay packed away.
