She lay awake, wondering, like she sometimes did, about Li Syaoran and how things could have been, what they could have been, if only...

Then she turned over and brushed her husband's cheek. He came awake instantly, as was his wont, and took her hand in his and asked her pleasure.

"Paint the night with stars, Eriol," she gasped, remembering how he'd seduced her in the darkness, and always he waved his hand for her and little pinpoints of light shone on their ceiling. He was quite the artist.

Then she slept, safe under their night sky.
