[Puella Magi Madoka Magica] douse the sunrise (Kyouko/Sayaka)
Title: douse the sunrise
Fandom: Puella Magi Madoka Magica
Length: 170 words
Prompt: three sentence ficathon: Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Sayaka/Kyouko, any mundane (e.g. coffee shop) AU
Pairing: Sayaka/Kyouko
Other: Mundane AU as per request.
Excerpt: Kyouko becomes more and more blatant, sometimes winking at Sayaka whenever she slips a roll into her pocket, and finally Sayaka snaps; she grabs Kyouko by the collar and drags her out into the small alley behind the shop and glares at her.
Sayaka is the first one to catch Kyouko stealing, and although her first instinct is to tell the manager, instead she tells Madoka (and this is a terrible idea, because Madoka spends the next hours speculating on how terrible Kyouko's life must be, if she's reduced to stealing baked goods from a coffeeshop, which makes Sayaka a little exasperated).
Kyouko becomes more and more blatant, sometimes winking at Sayaka whenever she slips a roll into her pocket, and finally Sayaka snaps; she grabs Kyouko by the collar and drags her out into the small alley behind the shop and glares at her.
"What's your problem?" she says, spreading her arms wide in desperation, supplication, or both; and that's when Kyouko kisses her, hard, almost biting; Sayaka can still feel the pressure on her lips, even after Kyouko has turned and run away (and the next day, when Kyouko comes in, she offers her name to Sayaka, along with a fresh apple, and Sayaka cannot stop herself from accepting both).
