Summary/Notes/Warnings: Only one Nadeshiko means that someone gets left out... and Sonomi isn't happy about it.

There was only one Nadeshiko.

Sometimes in her weaker moments Sonomi wished that the simple fact wasn't true. Nadeshiko should have had a twin, someone just the same, so that losing her to Kinomoto-sensei-baka wasn't so hard.

But she was utterly unique, and that was why Sonomi loved her so much. She just wished there was more of her beloved cousin to go around.

Because according to the law of supply and demand (as a business major, Sonomi was starting to think economically), as soon as demand went up, supply went down. And she wasn't the lucky one.

One day perhaps, a daughter of her own, with Nadeshiko's eyes or her smile. It wouldn't be an exact substitution, but it might be enough.
