[Bible] Risen (gen)
Title: Risen
Fandom: Bible (sort of)
Length: 164 words
Prompt: Three-Sentence Fic-a-thon: Biblical, Jesus, Ris'n with healing in his wings
Pairing: unnamed character gen
Other: Set in modern times kinda. Idk it's weird.
Excerpt: That wasn't nearly as important as her feet, and she looked down at them, and wiggled her toes, which were whole and as perfect as they had been at her birth.
She was only half-conscious, hovering in that comfortable place between sleep and waking, where she didn't have to think about pain or the accident or getting out of bed (always an ordeal), when she realized something was off; trying not to drift into full awareness, she shifted her feet, looking for what was different, but unable to find it until she realized that her feet were working, that she could feel them for the first time in almost ten years.
Her eyes flew open and she sat up, gasping, in the darkness of her room; it was Christmas, she registered at the very bottom of her consciousness, but that wasn't nearly as important as her feet, and she looked down at them, and wiggled her toes, which were whole and as perfect as they had been at her birth.
There was warmth around her, and a sense of wonder; someone whispered, "Well, are you coming?" in her ear, and without hesitation, she rose to follow Him.
