[Glee] Don't Stop (ensemble gen)
Title: Don't Stop
Fandom: Glee
Length: 144 words
Prompt: Three-Sentence Fic-a-thon: Glee, ensemble, and we all fall down
Pairing: ensemble gen
Other: Speculation post 1x13 Sectionals.
Excerpt: They all dared to hope that it could be Glee again, the club that broke down clique boundaries, that encouraged futures, that made school bearable.
When Finn showed up for Sectionals, they all dared to hope that it could be Glee again, the club that broke down clique boundaries, that encouraged futures, that made school bearable.
But it was only a patch, because Finn still wasn't talking to Puck or Quinn, and Quinn was sneaking out of rehearsal to cry in the bathroom, and Puck was more than usually violent to Kurt on dumpster mornings, and Finn just wasn't coping; Mr. Schue was distracted by Miss Pillsbury, everyone was tired of the drama, and they'd almost forgotten what it was to sing together and forget.
"Don't stop believing," Rachel sang with all her heart, but she felt like she was fighting a losing battle, that no more golden stars were going to happen for them, and she didn't know what to do next; there were no feelings to hold onto anymore.
