[Cardcaptor Sakura] can't choose 'em (Touya/Yukito)
Title: can't choose 'em
Fandom: Cardcaptor Sakura
Length: 568 words
Prompt: Christmas-card fic!
Pairing: Touya/Yukito established; Syaoran/Sakura
Other: n/a
Excerpt: Sakura had flown out the door to greet them, moving pretty fast considering the little monster she was incubating. When he'd said as much, he'd been answered by a familiar squeal and a footstomp, and even that was warm and familiar.
When Sakura had invited the two of them for Christmas this year, Touya hadn't hesitated to accept. Yeah, most of the time he still thought of Syaoran as the little brat that he had been, but this was his sister, after all. She came to Japan a couple times a year, but he still missed her.
So he navigated the airport, Yuki at his side, and listened, bemused, as Yuki negotiated a car for them in a dialect of Chinese he hadn't realized he knew (and nor had Yuki, to judge by his surprise; years later and Yue was still slowly giving up his secrets).

No, the problem Touya hadn't anticipated was the Beast of the Seal. He wasn't like the English boy's creature, who got drunk on sugar; no, Cerberus got drunk like any normal being, only faster, and by the time they'd all made it to bed, he was careening around corners and smacking into table legs. (He spent most of his time nowadays in his true form, now that Sakura could easily sustain it; Touya wasn't sure why she thought this was a good idea.)
And even going to bed cheerful and half-drunk wasn't a bad idea. However, Cerberus's singing was an awful one, and for some reason he'd decided to afflict it on all of them at three in the morning.
"Deck the Halls!" the lion warbled. Touya growled and put a pillow over his face.
"Do you want Yue to talk to him?" Yuki said before a yawn split his face. He was just as tired. Personally, Touya was a bit surprised that Syaoran and Sakura hadn't woken yet. Were they used to this kind of thing? Touya shuddered at the idea.
"Would it do any good?" he mumbled through the pillow.
Yuki hesitated. Touya considered what he knew of the guardians' relationship. Then he sighed and pulled Yuki down to rest his head on Touya's chest. he stroked Yukito's feather-soft hair as outside Kero continued to sing Christmas carols very badly in poor English.
"It's nice to see Sakura again," Yuki said sleepily. "We've missed her."
Touya wasn't sure if the "we" was supposed to refer to himself and Yukito or both of the people that Yukito was. He didn't ask. Kero lumbered by the door again, starting another verse and shouldering heavily against the door as he passed.
"Yes," he agreed as Yuki snuggled closer. He would never stop being pleased with the easy way they fit together. It made him happy in the small part of his brain that wasn't plotting awful death for Cerberus.
Finally, there was the smacking sound of a thrown shoe and Syaoran's voice, sleep-roughened, demanding that Kero cut it out because Sakura needed sleep. Kero started arguing that his singing would help, and then Sakura herself cut in to mediate. Touya saw a thin strip of light slip under the bedroom door as someone flipped the hallway lights on. He sighed. Yuki brushed his fingers across Touya's collarbone.
"Family," he mumbled.
"Yeah," Touya answered.
Somehow or another, they were asleep again before the night's argument concluded.
