Mercedes never would have guessed that Tina was good at dirty dancing. Like - really, really good. She wondered when Tina had learned how to do that. She was always such a mouse in Glee, speaking up less than any of the other girls and never demanding solos. Apparently she liked to say things with her body that she didn't say with her voice.

Tina's legs were entwined with Mercedes's right now. She was dancing close enough for Mercedes to feel their thighs brush, and the warm smooth press of Tina's leg on hers made Mercedes a little glad that she wasn't wearing a short skirt, because she might have just grabbed Tina right there, unheeding of any company. Tina threw her hands in the air, shaking her head around, completely unselfconscious in her movement. She was beautiful, her eyes shut and her hair falling in Mercedes's face, and when she leaned forward and pressed her lips to Mercedes's lips, Mercedes simply opened her mouth and let the kiss become what it was, as Tina's arms fell down around Mercedes's neck and their thigh muscles tensed together. Tina's body was warm on Mercedes's thigh, and Mercedes's heart was pumping hard.

"You're a great dancer," Tina said, and by this point she was grinding sensuously on Mercedes's leg. She smiled, just a quirk of her lips that promised mischief. Her nails were sudden and sharp on Mercedes's back, giving her goosebumps.

"I think you want something more than that," Mercedes said before she could stop herself.

"Come on," Tina said, pulling Mercedes away from the dance floor and towards the nearest closet, and that was just as breathlessly satisfying as the bass beat.
