Aerith never treated Tifa delicately. Tifa liked that. She was not a delicate woman. She had scars and calluses; she fought with her fists and often won. She was no china doll - the muscles were strong under her skin. There was nothing more frustrating than a partner who didn't understand that.

Aerith understood it. That was one of the reasons Tifa kept coming back to her at night. She swallowed curses and bit down epithets and buried moans in Aerith's skin, bucking her hips against Aerith's hands, pushing her breasts toward Aerith's teeth. Aerith pinched and pressed and thrust, always precise, always cheerful, but never softly. She knew what Tifa wanted - had understood from the very beginning, when Tifa covered Aerith's hand on Tifa's breast and squeezed hard, until her eyes shut and her want lay plain on her face.

That made this evening all the more frustrating. Aerith's fingertips were barely skimming the surface of Tifa's skin, tracing unknown patterns on her powerful thighs. Tifa kept straining into the touch. Aerith muffled her giggles in the crook of her elbow. Tifa growled in frustration.

"So impatient," Aerith scolded. Tifa reached down and ran her thumb along the curve of Aerith's neck.

The brutally gentle touches continued and Tifa was half a minute from reaching down to relieve her desires herself when Aerith's fingers plunged into her, hooking hard and deep without warning, and Tifa had been so tense with wanting that she was orgasming after only a few pumps of Aerith's fingers. Her body spasmed with pleasure. Aerith kissed her sweaty knee. Tifa smiled. She opened her arms and Aerith bounced up the bed, landing in-between Tifa's breasts. She claimed they were her favorite pillows. Tifa skimmed a hand down Aerith's side, pausing to cup her ass, losing herself a moment in thought.

Sex made the world feel wide. It made her feel entirely alive. And given the journey they were on, there was no guarantee of making it to the next day, not even a little bit. They'd all left things behind except Tifa, because the bar didn't count; it was hers, yes, but property wasn't as important as people, and she had Aerith with her. Sometimes she thought about Marlene, and her regulars, and Aerith's mother.

Aerith made a little mewling noise; Tifa whispered, "Impatient?" in her ear, but didn't hesitate to give her what she wanted. She needed this connection to another human being. Cloud wasn't the person she'd once known; her childhood friend was a silent stranger. Aerith might not have known her with childhood skinned knees, but she'd nursed Tifa's more serious injuries. And she listened in a way that Cloud never had. His thoughts were clouded by half-memories and big dreams.

Tifa just hoped for another dark night with this woman at her side. That was enough of a reason to try to save the world.

THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH HEARTS IN THE WORLD. It was hot, of course, and I'm interested in the whole Cloud-as-a-stranger idea.

Well, this may be due to a lens of time, but from what I remember, Cloud went off to SOLDIER and returned as the sulky amnesiac that we all know and love. I always think that had to have been hard on Tifa.

I wish I could get into the rest of the FF7 besides the original game, but none of it grabbed me like the original did, sadly.

If you want more Aerith/Tifa porn, I have written one other piece (http://storypaint.livejournal.com/146150.html). :D

Whereas, I must confess, I was introduced through Advent Children and have yet to get my hands on the original, although I've read a lot of Wiki summaries and whatnot so I am familiar with that. And yeah, it does sound hard on Tifa.

Advent Children is not too bad. Although it just didn't have the charm of the blocky people of the original somehow. I guess I'm some sort of weird purist. |D
