Summary/Notes/Warnings: Every married couple has a morning routine.

When you're married long enough, your words fall into patterns. Such was it with Nadeshiko and Fujitaka.

"Good morning, beautiful," he would say upon awakening, and kiss her on the forehead. She would kiss his mouth and say, "Good morning." Then they would climb out of bed and get ready for work and school.

They left at the same time and as they stood next to each other and slipped on their shoes. Their eyes would meet and they would smile at each other. Every time she did his knees went weak, every day until the day she died.

"I love you," he would say to her, and she would say, "Always and forever, no matter what." And it didn't matter whether she was holding Sakura in her arms or scolding Touya at the moment--she never forgot. Always and forever.

It was that he remembered every day when he woke up. Eleven years of mariage and the habits therein acquired wouldn't go away overnight. Every morning he awoke and reached forward to kiss a forehead that would never grace his bed again. Before he left in the morning, he told her picture that he loved her.

It was hard, especially in the beginning. But every day was a day closer to the day that she would again tell him, "Always and forever."
