When he came upon Yuki leaning casually against the tree, book abandoned on his knee and eyes closed in sleep, Touya drew in a breath before he realized that he didn't have to worry about that kind of thing anymore. The issue that had been burning him for the past few months was solved. He wouldn't mind being just a little tired in exchange for that piece of mind, not at all, as he kept reassuring Yuki.

He crouched down beside Yukito and picked up the book. Yuki sighed in his sleep. He too, looked fully relaxed for the first time in months, and Touya had to smile when he saw that. Yes, it was totally worth it.

He tapped Yuki on the head with the book to wake him up. Yuki looked disoriented for a moment, but as soon as his eyes focused, he grinned at Touya.

"Eat and nap, eat and nap," Touya said teasingly. "You'd really think you were a rabbit at this rate."

"To-ya!" Yuki protested, but there was only fondness in his tone. Touya opened the book over his knee and began to read aloud, exaggerating the voices of the characters until Yuki was shaking with laughter.

The next day, when Yukito found Touya asleep in the same place, with the same book at his side (because even as he made fun of it, he seemed to enjoy reading it), the pale-haired boy smiled and just watched Touya nap.
