Excalibur sidles up next to Kid, thrusting the cane up under Kid's chin in examination.

She looks down and away and then for split ends in her hair. That is an endeavor that can take hours, but Excalibur is rubbing her head against Kid's knee and Death's daughter screams. She's giving up skirts as of now.

"You don't want to be my consort?" the Weapon asks, and Kid shakes her head and mumbles something about her guns. The creature contrives somehow to look disappointed; she takes her crown off and turns it around in her hands.

"Gross," Black Star pronounces. She grabs Kid's hand and drags her away. They don't look back until they're quite some distance from the cave.

"She wanted you to be her consort," Black Star crows. "Lesbiiiiiiiiian," she teases.

Death the Kid doesn't punch like a girl. You'd think Black Star would know that by now.
