Roped (Clow/Yuuko)
Title: Roped
Length: 177 words
Prompt:
6_cocktails: 3. Golden Tang
Pairing: Clow/Yuuko
Other: n/a
Excerpt: He knew everything about her, it seemed, and Yuuko found it utterly frustrating.
He knew everything about her, it seemed, and Yuuko found it utterly frustrating. He knew exactly how she liked her liquor, her favorite smell, the many names she'd used in the past (calling her "Yuuko" was only a courtesy, she suspected; he was too polite to use her true name).
It left a bad taste in her mouth.
He smiled and he laughed and he lied to her, she knew he did, even if she couldn't catch him at it half the time. She'd ask him to turn his precognition off, if it were possible, but she knew it wasn't. That was one area in which she was satisfied to be his inferior.
"Yuuko-chan--"
"Shut up," she growled, and he just laughed under his breath a little, and she began to plot his death, because at least he couldn't read her mind. Yet.
"Drink this," he said, handing her a cup and running his cool fingers across her forehead. She scowled and did, feeling the headache disappear from his ministrations.
She didn't thank him; he probably knew, anyway.
