It was almost too easy, at the same time. Wouldn't a normal teenager have gone mad? Instead he'd adjusted his sleeping schedule to catch the early bird, found a good tree, and made a home, when he had had two non-homes before.
That's not a local, he thought, watching as the other hawk climbed the thermals, and for some reason the thought bothered him.
I didn't think, that's not a local bird.
