Maybe somewhere there was a version of her that didn't get pregnant, a world where Mark and Vanessa grew desperate, childless, an existence where Paulie and the soup-smelling chick were soulmates.
Juno envied that version of herself because all of her clothes still fit, and she probably wasn't screaming to break the band because this freaking hurt and was horrible and she never wanted to do this again.
"Stay strong, Junebug," someone murmured, and she was in too much pain to care who. She squeezed an offered hand and fought to expel her burden.
That other Juno was probably drinking a Slurpy and laughing right now. Juno hated her.
