Summer (Juno and Leah)
Title: Summer
Fandom: Juno
Length: 152 words
Prompt:
writing_game: player's choice: anglophile +2 gangly +3 lick +1
Pairing: Juno and Leah gen; Juno/Bleeker
Other: n/a
Excerpt: They've decided that they're British today and they use fake accents to call random people from the pay phone outside the convenience store, just for fun.
They've decided that they're British today and they use fake accents to call random people from the pay phone outside the convenience store, just for fun. They try to sell them British insurance and Leah shrieks and hangs up when someone acts interested.
It's been a while since it was just the two of them. Juno spends a lot of time with Bleek, working on the band and French-kissing, and Leah has been at cheerleading finals. But it's their last summer of high school, and they're determined to make the most of it.
After they get bored with the phone calls, they try the accent out on Rollo, who hates it, but he hates everything. They lick Slurpies until their tongues are green (trying a new flavor) and then they make fun of Rollo's knees, his utter gangliness, until he kicks them out.
It's still summer, and that's all that matters.
