She didn't even know why she agreed to go out with this guy, except that she knew it would make Paulie mad, and she's still angry with him. Somehow, this made her angrier. She probably should have just apologized but instead here she was, making small talk with an idiot who didn't know about Pumpkin Soup (only the best new band on Earth, that's all) or anything else important.

He was willing to get her drunk, unlike Mr. Straight-Edge Bleeker, so she was feeling pretty charitable when he stuck his hand up her shirt, but not so much when he began to fumble with her jeans.

"Do you have a condom?" she asked, letting go of her buzz regretfully.

He kissed her neck and then suggested that they could do it standing up, or maybe he could pull out or something. And he wasn't a bad kisser, but Juno McGuff opened the car door and got out, buttoning up her buttons.
