Excerpt: "Hem hem hem," she mutters, spreading them out on the table.
"Martha, I've got them," Riddleton says, waving the photos, and no one would think that the other woman could move so fast, but she's snatched the pictures from Riddleton's hand with lightning speed.
"Hem hem hem," she mutters, spreading them out on the table and running her fingers over a behind barely concealed by the steam. "Yesssh..."
Her eyes are bright, her face is flushed. "These are good quality, Grandma. How in the world--?"
Riddleton shrugged, and then she smiled, and for that moment, her innocent old-lady facade is shattered.
"Bribery works quite well, ohoho," she says. Her own eyes sink in the details of the photographs, and she smiles. Then after a moment, she blinks.
"Why does he wear that hat in the shower?"
