"I just don't understand," Sakura said, the tears welling up in her eyes. Syaoran tried not to notice. He tried to feel nothing.
"It's not personal," he tried to say, but she stuck her chin out and replied, "How is that possible? How can that be possible?"
"It's me," he said.
"I still don't understand," she said. She crossed her arms in front of her chest in a defensive manner.
"Of course you don't," he replied, looking at her from the corner of his eyes, studying the liquid green of her eyes. To drown in, like he'd said once. Just not... for him to drown in.
"Syaoran..."
"Perhaps you should call me Li-kun," he said, still trying not to feel anything. She breathed a word quietly, perhaps his name, but he couldn't take this anymore. He walked away.
