It wasn't that he was worried about the bounty on the man's head. He and Yuuko had gone after people like this before. Drunk, this guy should be easy to capture. It was more that Watanuki didn't want to have to wash this uniform again.

"Sir, I think you need to lay down," he said stuffily, guiding the man towards the back. Yuuko winked at him theatrically before settling back into her card game.

Exactly four minutes later, two minutes after Watanuki attempted to handcuff Vash to the bedpost, Watanuki came flying out of the backroom and struck the floor hard. He was lucky not to land on his head. Instead his elbow cracked and broke.

Yuuko stood to catch a glimpse of her cohort. Setting her cards down to reveal five aces, she rose to her feet and got out of there. Watanuki would be fine by himself, she was sure.

Though it might have helped his case if he'd let Vash kiss him in that drunken stupor.
