Prompt: 3. embrace
Excerpt: How could one explain the intimacy of womanly embrace?
It was something her straight friends couldn't understand. She came out to them one by one, and inevitably they asked the same question.
"How does that, you know, work?" they asked. With men, a little creative tought was needed, but the act was imaginable. There was, to put it crudely, a peg and a hole. With women...?
Bette gave up trying to explain after a while, traded straight friends for gay ones, who never asked.
How could one explain the intimacy of womanly embrace? The press of breast against breast, the taste, the tongue, the kisses? It was natural, it was life. It was Tina. It was love.
It shouldn't need an explanation.
