"I could really use your help," he pleaded. Yuuko turned her back to him, sad. He couldn't rationalize this to her. There was no need for his death. He wanted it. She didn't understand and that separated the two of them.

Please, don't! she wanted to plead, but she was too proud. She listened to him walk away slowly.

She never rationalized labeling him the "stupid magician." He was just stupid, she thought (for leaving).
