Excerpt: There are few people who can crack Yuuko's facade, and Clow is one of them.

There are few people who can crack Yuuko's facade, and Clow is one of them. She can see a little more of the illusion breaking every time he steps into her shop. The fact that he can come and go at will bothers her. He won't tell her what his wish is. She knows anyway.

"You are the stupidest magician I know," she says without venom. She has no venom for him-- just curiousity and weariness. There has been no one like him in the shop before.

And no one since until Watanuki came. He is trusting and naive and he has too much power for his own good. If she didn't know that Clow's only children are the ones he he made without the aid of a woman, she would wonder. At least Watanuki hasn't found a way to crack her facade as thoroughly as Clow did.

She can grant his wish, and half the reason that she does is because she couldn't grant Clow's, all those years ago.
