Sometimes when he came to the shop they barely spoke before they fell together, lips locking like they were scared to breathe alone. His hands would travel from her waist up underneath her clothes. Clow pressed against her skin like he could crawl underneath it, like he could become absorbed into her and would never have to leave the inherent safety of her generous bosom.

Normally, Yuuko tried her hardest to repress any mothering instincts, saving them for Maru and Moro, who were sometimes more pets than children (though just as loved). Still, something in her knew to repress her irritation and let him hold her once he has spent his lust. He shuddered in his sleep and she sighed.

In the morning she left the shop. Maru and Moro would be there when she "came back" by stepping into a dusty warehouse some six hundred miles away. The space would bend to her whims, like it always did. The shop would come. But Clow would not. He would wake in a small shop that would look as though it had been abandoned for years. It was part of those instincts that lived too close to her breast, this understanding that the rest of his journey he would have to walk alone.

She left him a kiss and a spell to seal the cards. She wished that she'd been able to grant his wish.
