This big house is so empty without her in it. I keep turning down a hallway and glancing again because I can almost see her standing there, long red hair and soft tea-colored eyes.

Let it be over soon, so I can bring her to me. Nights without her are so long. Even dreamland is no solace. I lay awake in my bed and wish she is looking at the same ceiling. This place which was Clow's could maybe feel like home, if she were here.

I want her to be here with me again, so I can be real.

He looked at me and I thought I saw a different gaze than the one he had benevolently given to Sakura and her friends. I wonder if he saw through me. He saw right through Li-kun and Daidouji-san, and though they are young. I am not that much more complicated than they.

"I am quite fond of them," he said, and I smiled.

The question I will ask then is: are you quite fond of me?
