~~~~~~~for sky_pirate_tat, Nietzche/Wagner in the present day. Thanks Tat, I'm going to Hell. ^^
Excerpt: The teenagers walking by them in a large group were loudly criticizing their period clothing and Old High German. Luckily for the pair, they couldn't understand.
"What is all this?" Richard asked, quickly growing annoyed in the absence of anything familiar. He gazed around the mall with a growing horror and irritation. His companion had nothing but irritation in his eyes when he answered, "Who cares? More importantly, why am I here with you? I thought you were dead!"
"That could explain the memory loss," Wagner replied thoughtfully. The teenagers walking by them in a large group were loudly criticizing their period clothing and Old High German. Luckily for the pair, they couldn't understand.
A smooth man stepped forward out of the crowd and handed Nietzche his card. His German accent was atrocious. "Wonderful to meet you, gentlemen. If you'd just follow me we could get you settled in. It's a wonderful apartment, I promise."
Dazed, the pair began to follow the man, but then Nietzche had a thought. "Apartment? As in, singular? As in, I have to share with this music-blaring God-loving freak?"
Wagner nudged his companion. "That's not what you said when I was alive," he whispered, winking, and even Nietzche's angry shove didn't take the twinkle out of his eye.
