It hurt to lose Clow, though I never told anyone.

Really, who was there to tell? It was Yue and I and the Clow Cards, and they were all enveloped in their own grief. For me, it wasn't quite the same.

Yue loved Clow in a way that clueless man had never anticipated, fully and solely. And the cards loved him as a father, a creator.

Perhaps it was intentional, but I was never enchanted by the man simply because he had made me. I loved him, and I missed him now, but more as a friend.

He didn't have any friends, did he? I never asked, but I assume that was why he created us. The little boy with imaginary friends had grown up and made them real. Amazing, if you thought about it.

He may have been completely thoughtless in some aspects, but not always. The man was redeemable.

"I think I'll call you Kero-chan!" she said, and smiled, and I never told her that Clow used to call me that too, to be annoying. I guess it was his version of the embarrassing nickname a parent always gives their kid (you don't wanna know what he called Yue...).

I let her do it, and thank the thoughtful, thoughtless man.
