Summary: Kaho and Eriol are having trouble finding someone to marry them. Flashfic.

The fourth church they went to turned them down, and the pastor shook his head. His eyes glowed with what he wanted to say to them, but his look was enough.

They strode down the street, hand in hand, heads bowed, and the curiousity and judgment of the public pressed down around them, pulling them apart until only their fingers touched.

"We can wait to get married," she said listlessly, running her thumb over the smooth part of her ring.

"Absolutely," he said, trying not to sound disappointed, and their physical contact was broken by a member of the crowd traveling in the other direction.

Not for the first time, Eriol and Kaho prayed separately that this would work.

;_; *sniffle* I never really thought so much about the age disparity between Eriol and Kaho before reading all your fanfics for them.

What is a flashfic? xD I've never heard that term used before.

Aww, I didn't want to make you sniffle. ^^

A flashfic... longer than a drabble (mine's about 130 or 160 words), but less than 500 words. I wanted to mention it was short, but I didn't want to cut anything from it.

Ah, cool. I learned something new XDD And is 500+ a typical fanfic?

Personally, I wouldn't call a 500+ fic a "typical" length for a fic, but long ago when everyone had a WIP of Doom, it certainly was. (Like when I first got into CCS. Drabbles did not exist).
