Excerpt: Sometimes Clow wished that he had created Kero in the same manner as Yue.

Sometimes Clow wished that he had created Kero in the same manner as Yue. But then he looked down at the small golden form, stuffed to the brim with sweets, comfortably asleep in his lap. He knew that when Kero awoke, he would probably attempt to tickle Clow to death. This would lead to at least another hour lost of work, and possibly wrestling on the lawn; the small twitch of Yue’s lips that meant a smile, and then probably more food and another nap (at least for his sun guardian).

Clow smiled. He wouldn't have Kero any other way.
