Summary: Post-canon and short. Syaoran makes Tomoyo lunch as a thank-you.

The day after Syaoran came back to Tomoeda, he brought Tomoyo lunch. He waited until everyone else had left the room in anticipation of the midday meal, and then he handed her the bento with no explanation.

"What's the occasion?" she said curiously, noting how carefully he'd put it together.

"It's a thank-you," he said, a flush rising to his cheeks.

Tomoyo smiled. "You did perfectly well on your own," she said. He would have confessed his love eventually, she figured, probably by accident.

"No, I didn't. You gave me some really good advice," he said, looking her in the eye to show his sincerity. "Thank you, Daidouji."

"You're welcome," she said, honestly touched. The two of them left the classroom and found Sakura so they could eat together. And Sakura had made Syaoran lunch, but Tomoyo thought that even Sakura's cooking couldn't compare with the gratitude present in the meal Syaoran made for her.
