They are doing some simple spellwork when Kit decides to check his name; something doesn't feel quite right about it, and after some careful squinting he sees the way Nita's name is intertwined with his and the slight difference in the relationship marker.
He'd been planning something special, a night out, a friend to record the video, but he's been carrying the ring around with him since he bought it two weeks ago, and he suddenly doesn't want to wait.
"Nita," he says, "I think the Powers are telling us something-- come take a look," and then he just waits for her to get to the end of the line.
