This was just recommended on the angst meme and I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it. Both my mother and I have suffered from chronic diseases similar to fibro (she was actually diagnosed with it) and it obviously changes everything about your life. I loved that Rachel remained Rachel in this story, but that she ultimately did what was best for her. The section with the disbelieving doctor hit way too close to home.
