[American Gods] Imprisoned (Low-Key gen)

Title: Imprisoned
Fandom: Neil Gaiman's American Gods
Length: 170 words
Prompt: Three-Sentence Fic-a-thon: American Gods, Wednesday & Low-Key, phone call from prison
Pairing: Low-Key gen
Other: Vague spoilers.

Excerpt: Low-Key knew that this plan had been in motion for quite a while, but he wasn't really sure he liked the prison part of it.

Low-Key knew that this plan had been in motion for quite a while, but he wasn't really sure he liked the prison part of it; there was a lot a trickster could do behind bars but outside there was so much potential waiting for him, so many minds to twist a little, one-way signs to flip, church signs to rearrange.

Wednesday called him about once a month or so, asking about his son and about the plan (on schedule, as always), and if he didn't think that Low-Key knew they were related, then he was a much stupider man than either of them thought, and Low-Key should bail now before the whole thing blew up in their faces.

Each month they inched closer; each month the dragon tried to swallow his tail and the wolf gnawed at the root and Low-Key planned more mischief, laughing that Shadow couldn't see the net they were tightening around him (if he thought for a moment that prison was bad, wait until he discovered his destiny...).
