Excerpt: Finn scrunches down and whispers in Kurt's ear, his breath hot. "This feels kinda... fetishy. I don't know, man."
Finn scrunches down and whispers in Kurt's ear, his breath hot. "This feels kinda... fetishy. I don't know, man."
Kurt is carefully painting blue around his eyes, leaning forward on his toes and staring into the mirror. Without pausing, he answers, "I've done stranger things for fashion."
Finn remembers the Gaga boots of sophomore year, the flannel experiments, Kurt's habit of working fetish gear into his daily wear, and he nods.
"Besides," Kurt continues as Sam steps back into the room, adjusting his loincloth. He shoots Sam a smile in the reflection of the mirror, and his very blue boyfriend smiles back.
"Besides, it makes him happy." Kurt looks at Finn from the corner of his eye.
"Are you guys ready yet?" Sam asks. "The anniversary release is in an hour!" He's practically bouncing with anticipation.
"This big lug smudged his cheek again, but we're almost good," Kurt answers fondly. "You want to go start the car? Don't forget the towels on the seats."
Sam nods and leaves the room again. Kurt leans up and dabs at Finn's cheek. He says something and Finn's forehead creases.
"What?"
Kurt repeats it. "Say it to Sam. He'll be thrilled."
"What does it mean?"
"It means 'I love you,' in Na'vi," Kurt answers. "And you won't believe the Googling I had to do to figure that out."
Finn attempts to repeat it, and when he can do so to Kurt's satisfaction, Kurt nods and drags him out the door. Finn has the words and Kurt has a fake tail and hips he knows how to use. This evening is going to end very well. He's already put old sheets on the bed in anticipation of them being stained blue.
After all, Kurt might make sacrifices for fashion, but for something like this, he totally wants to get laid.
