Michael has been positive, more than once, that he has seen it all. Everything. Anything that someone could possibly come up to freak him out-- it's been done by people who share most of his genes and live in his house.

Somehow, they still manage to surprise him. No matter how many times his dad runs from the law, or his sister is irresponsible, or his brothers are idiots, he can't just sweep it under the rug. Not even drunk, the way his mother does, rolling her eyes and saying that boys will be boys and asshole CEO husbands will be Michael are you even listening to me?

There's a-- what can he call it, a snow angel is not the right word for a blue, somewhat human-shaped stain on what had been very nice imitation wood floors-- a blue form on his kitchen floor, like someone had gotten a little too enthusiastic when outlining a crime scene. And there are footsteps leading through it in all directions; well, at least he can see the exit marks, and now his house looks like the little kid from the Family Circus has drawn the dotted lines of his adventures. Man, the Family Circus. If that's a circus, then the Bluths have a whole summer blockbuster dedicated to them.

(See what I did there? See?)

Why hasn't anyone cleaned it up? Why has Tobias done this in the first place? He tthinks that his brother-in-law has yet again given up his dreams of becoming a member of the Blue Man Group and is seeking a return to acting, much to everyone's displeasure.

George Michael sticks his head in the doorway, and his cheek has a navy-colored stain. The boy looks uncertainly at the mess.

Don't ask, his eyes plead, and he says aloud, "Um! I'll get the mop!" before he flees the scene of the crime. Michael watches the blue footprints recede.

Once again, he thinks he's seen it all.
