[Harry Potter/Cardcaptor Sakura] Resemblance (trio gen)
Title: Resemblance
Fandom: Harry Potter/Cardcaptor Sakura
Length: 365
Prompt: n/a
Pairing: Harry Potter trio & Eriol gen
Other: The picture I referred to when writing this story was this one.
Excerpt: "Look at this!" she said, and laughed. "This guy looks like you."
The poster at which she pointed had two people and a panther creature on it; there was a woman with mauve hair and a secretive smile on the left, and on the right a boy that really did resemble Harry. He had glasses, somewhat messy hair, and kind eyes.
"Japan is weird," Ron commented, gesturing in all directions. Passersby kept giving him strange looks. They had thought they would stand out because they were all in uniform (minus the robes, of course), but every other high school student in the country it seemed were dressed alike. McGonagall had already had to stop three different boys from casting small wind spells when pretty Japanese schoolgirls walked by. They stood out because they were foreign instead.
"Oh, hush, Ron," Hermione said, gazing around in wonder. What a fascinating country! What a great opportunity this had been, to actually visit another continent and study Eastern magic! It would be great, maybe, if Ron wasn't being annoying.
She studied the posters they walked by, which advertised video games and strange television cartoons. Up ahead of them a Muggle-born Ravenclaw none of them knew was explaining the "anime phenomenon" to anyone who was listening. Hermione supposed that these posters were about anime. One in particular caught her eye, and she grabbed Harry's sleeve.
"Look at this!" she said, and laughed. "This guy looks like you."

He had glasses, somewhat messy hair, and kind eyes. There was a caption underneath, and Hermione pulled out her Japanese kanji dictionary to decode it.
"Hee rah gee zah wah Ae ree ole," she read. Harry didn't quite know what to think. Ron looked at the picture and laughed.
"Cor, what a stupid hat!" he said, pointing to Eriol's large, oddly shaped cap. "At least our hats are better than his."
"It was a rather stupid hat," someone agreed cheerfully in perfect English, and a boy whom neither of them had seen approaching was suddenly at their side. He was wearing a Japanese school uniform and a familiar smile. He bowed to them and then disappeared into the crowd.
For a moment, the three looked after him. Harry and Hermioine exchanged a questioning glance, and then Ron said, "Man, that guy looked like Harry!"
