andymere
Pairing: Eriol/Sakura

Excerpt: She smelled of cherry blossoms and old books. Somehow there was a leaf caught in her hair.
He found Sakura in the library, her nose in a book, but as he watched, she emerged to flip through another and check a definition. She bit her lip cutely. He'd always loved surprises and so he waited until she'd buried herself again before he sneaked up behind her and brushed her shoulder.
She giggled, turning. "Eriol-kun, you surprised me!" she admonished, eyes sparkling in a way that made his breath catch. She smelled of cherry blossoms and old books. Somehow there was a leaf caught in her hair. He blinked in memory and rescued it, blowing on it and shaping it into an illusion of a bird. She laughed again, and he grinned.
"Have you found what you're looking for?" he asked.
She sighed. "I might be here forever, looking." Eriol had one of the greatest magical libraries in the world, after all. It was huge.
"I don't mind," he said, reaching out to brush his fingers against her cheek. She shut her eyes when he leaned forward and kissed her.
Maybe, she thought, this was it.

I ♥ libraries. Personal ones are really fun! It seems few people keep them, especially anymore. (I put in the inside of each book of mine ex libris Claire since I don't think my name needs to go into genitive, being a foreign word, but I don't know.)

I used to write my name in all my books, too, and actually catalogued them for a long time. Too much effort anymore.

My categories are "finished" and "not yet". xD
