She'd been curious. Who wouldn't have been? They show you a stupid video in middle school and then expect you to glean everything else from older siblings, movies, and dirty magazines. Juno knew a girl freshman year who swore that douching with Mountain Dew would prevent pregnancy. Personally, she figured it would just make you sticky in a place you didn't want to be sticky.
The way Bleek sighed, he certainly got something out of it, but she wasn't sure if she liked it. There was a burn, but it was a burn of unused muscles, not real pain. It was pleasant enough, but it wasn't what everyone said.
It was starting to feel good when he came, and she was a little disappointed, but the media had certainly prepared her for that. She climbed off and wiped herself and put her jeans back on, but not her underwear.
She felt the odd sensation of freedom all the way home, of worldliness. Finally she was a woman.
But she didn't feel any different, really. She was just Juno MacGuff.
That was good enough anyway.
