Excerpt: The thing about hitsuzen was its efficiency.
The thing about hitsuzen was its efficiency. Because Watanuki was young, he wouldn't know how to manipulate the threads of it, quite yet. To him, the threads were less suggestions and more like heavy rope-- difficult to move, hard to see around.
Perhaps the best metaphor: Yuuko sewed with them, took the thoughts and motivations and actions and stitched them together into a patchwork to save Sakura and Syaoran and the world itself, which wasn't really sewed together as well as one might think.
Fei Wong Reed was doing his best to undo her stitches. At this point, she could only hope that they held.
