Mokona knows how Yuuko organized the storeroom, which is more than Yuuko knows, sometimes. It's just common sense, which Mokonas have in abundance. (They only seem simple-- really they see straight through to the heart of the matter.)

For instance, Mokona knows that Soel and Larg were both in plain view, so that Watanuki wouldn't be too distracted by the mess-- but that Yuuko had put them there only a few weeks before Watanuki came. It had awakened just a little in the handling, and sighed.

Mokona knows that all of the notes that went into its creation are tucked in the back, up high, slightly off into the next dimension, difficult to see. And it knows the reason they are so difficult to find.

Yuuko can't stand to look at Clow's handwriting anymore. It makes her sad. So sometimes Mokona hops up on that high shelf and reads its birthright to itself, its eyes tracing the gentle loops of Yuuko's script and the spiky, cramped handwriting of its other creator.

One day, it may pull the notes out and show them to Yuuko. But not yet. Mokona thinks that Yuuko probably remembers where they are.
