Summary/Notes/Warnings: Sonomi would always be a part of Nadeshiko and Fugitaka's relationship, despite anyone's wishes to the contrary.

It would be a flaw to forget Sonomi, he knew. Of all his students, she was one of the brightest, and she would notice things first. She was always with Nadeshiko, as much as a sister or a lover would be. She would notice.

He tried to convince his girlfriend not to tell her best friend that they were dating, not understanding who she was right away-- a woman who presented everything of herself to the world, and took away what she needed from it to be happy-- but Nadeshiko brushed his words off.

"She loves me, so she'll love you!" she assured blithely, and off she went to share her happiness with her other favorite person.

Now, running this race against this crazy woman with fire in her eyes and a supposed grudge to settle, he knew that it had been a flaw to include Sonomi. But what could one do but keep running?

She hadn't caught him yet, after all.
