Nowadays, Yuuko lived vicariously through Watanuki.

He was still so young. He lived at an age when everything was important. She couldn't remember the last time she'd had the same passion in her blood as he spent fighting with Doumeki and loving Himawari.

She tried to warn him about that. One thing she didn't do vicariously was fall in love again. It would come to hurt, like it had come for her (he had died, that stupid magician), and that was something she didn't want to live through again.

She always tried to warn Watanuki, but the young never listen.

"Because her father will love her, her brother will protect her, and she will be in love," Clow answered with a smile.

Yuuko knew that after chasing all of Clow's demented work, the girl would deserve a break, but she still felt like adding a little dissent into her perfect life.

Perhaps it was because this girl was taking Clow away.
