Yamazaki's Nanowrimo Story, Day 1

Once upon a time there was a young boy who was forced tragically against his will to write 50,000 words in order to pass his Composition class. He toiled mightily in order to come up with a good story for his class, but it was to no avail. He, the king of storytellers, had no story.

Moreover, the paragraph he had labored over for fifteen minutes was only 56 words long, even when he added adverbs and a few lies. Woe, woe was the Composition student!

Knowing that he would soon fail the course if he turned in but 96 words, and that mostly autobiographical, he tried again to force his brain to function.

Once upon a time there was a girl who was forced tragically against her will to write 50,000 words in order to pass out of fairy school.

Once upon a time there was a guy who loved a girl very much. But for some unknown reason, she hit him all the time, giving him horrible bruises and a condition that forces his eyes to become mere slits in his face. One day he asked her why she was so cruel to him, and she said it was her way of showing love. And so he kissed her and she loved him forevermore.

Once upon a time, there lived a powerful magician, alone except for his two magical companions, an angel-being and a flying lion. The magician knew that he was growing old, he had two problems: besides owing a great deal of money in side-bets to a drunken witch, he knew he was going to die soon.

Okay, that feels like enough for the day.

Sakura's Nanowrimo Story, Day 1

There was a girl whose brother picked on her all the time. One day she grew tall enough to crush him! She grew so large that her brother feared her, and never picked on her again.

This story is going to be too short.

Syaoran's Nanowrimo Story, Day 1

Once upon a time there was a gallant knight.

I hate this class.

Eriol's Nanowrimo Story, Day 1

Once upon a time, there was a magician admired and feared across the land. When it came time for him to die, he reincarnated himself by halves-- one half which helped to conceive his successor physically, and one half which helped to test his successor. They finished early and the young magician then had many years in which he could spend time with his family, garden, and pull boyish pranks.

However, this is not his story. This story is going to be a retelling of Paradise Lost from a Heavenly point of view, written entirely in blank verse. He just though it would be a great idea to write the author's introduction first.

Yamazaki's Nanowrimo Story, Day 30

And when all was done and the final card locked away, Mitsuko went back to school and a normal life. Her boyfriend moved to Japan permanently and they got engaged one summer evening, with the Roses card providing a romantic atmosphere. Though it had been a long and winding road, Mitsuko was thrilled to have opened the Cloud book and released the cards. Chasing the cards caused her to have many new experiences and meet many friends.

She lived a long and happy life and eventually when it came time to choose an heir, she picked a squinty-eyed, wise-cracking boy, wise to the ways of the world, and unlikely to open the Cloud Book by accident. And I know this story is entirely true, because I am that boy... and hey, would I lie to you?

The End
